The Metro Vancouver Coquitlam UV Filtration Project draws water from the Coquitlam Reservoir into this new treatment facility, which has a rated capacity of 12 million liters (317 million gallons) of water per day. This new facility added UV PROTECTION to the existing ozone/chlorine system and creates a multi barrier system to ensure all residents in the greater Vancouver are receiving the safest and highest quality of drinking water possible.

This system reduces carbon emissions and is an energy efficient solution with the smallest environmental impact.
