Lags Bolts with screw threads which are used in timber construction, basically oversized wood screws. They feature a classic four sided square head, which can be driven into timber without needing a nut.
We Stock
1/2″ 5/8″, 3/4″ diameters up to 28 “ in length. All lag bolts over 10” in length stocked in even sizes (ex: 10″, 12″, 14″ long)
Use of Lag Bolts
Applications for this product are marine, railroad, Log & timber houses, and bridge construction. Frequently used where a classic aesthetic is wanted as before the rise of mass manufacturing Hex Heads were much less common (square heads were much easier to shape by hand).
